About Launch Point Outreach

A community-rooted nonprofit serving Coastal Central and Northern Florida with compassionate, evidence-based care for HIV, hepatitis C, and STIs.

Our Story

Launch Point Outreach was founded by two nurse practitioners, community leaders, and neighbors who saw a gap that could not be ignored. Across Coastal Central and Northern Florida, too many residents were falling through the cracks—unable to afford HIV or STI testing, afraid of stigma, or simply unsure where to turn for confidential, compassionate PrEP, PEP, or hepatitis C care.

We are a registered Florida nonprofit corporation with federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and we are preparing for enrollment in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program—a powerful tool that will allow us to stretch every dollar and provide affordable HIV, hepatitis C, PrEP and PEP medications across our region.

We focus exclusively on HIV, hepatitis C, and STIs so we can provide the highest quality care in these areas.

We are building our organization on a foundation of compliance, transparency, and ethical practices — because our patients deserve nothing less.

Our Leadership

Launch Point Outreach is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors with deep roots in Florida and a shared passion for community health.

Together with our growing team of staff, volunteers, and community partners across the region, we are building a healthier future—one test, one PrEP prescription, one life at a time. Our team includes a licensed prescriber (MD/DO/NP/PA) with appropriate DEA registration and full compliance with Florida laws on scope of practice, ensuring safe and legal delivery of medications and treatment, including on-site curative hepatitis C therapy.

What Sets Us Apart

Eight reasons we are uniquely positioned to serve our community.

Deep Specialization in HIV, HCV, and STIs

Our exclusive focus on HIV, hepatitis C, and STI testing, PrEP, PEP, and on-site treatment allows us to develop deep expertise, maintain the highest quality testing and treatment protocols, build trusting relationships with the communities we serve, navigate the complex landscape of HIV prevention and HCV cure, and maximize the future impact of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

On-Site Hepatitis C Cure

Unlike many organizations that test for hepatitis C but refer patients elsewhere for treatment, we provide on-site curative DAA therapy under our licensed prescriber. No referral needed. No waiting. High cure rate — DAA therapy cures over 95% of hepatitis C cases. We help with insurance, patient assistance, and future 340B pricing.

Barrier Elimination for PrEP and PEP

We eliminate every common barrier: Cost (we navigate insurance, patient assistance programs, and manufacturer coupons to get PrEP for free or low cost), Knowledge (clear and accurate education about how PrEP and PEP work), Access (prescribing providers available), Stigma (private, confidential, judgment-free setting), and Time Sensitivity (immediate guidance within the critical 72-hour PEP window).

Barrier Elimination for Testing

We are built from the ground up to eliminate barriers: No cost barriers (free and low-cost testing for everyone). No insurance barriers. No geographic barriers (we bring testing to you). No stigma barriers. No appointment barriers (walk-ins welcome at outreach sites). No identification barriers for anonymous testing.

Built for the 340B Program

We are building specifically to qualify and succeed in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program — so we can provide affordable HIV and hepatitis C medications to patients who would otherwise go without. We will use 340B savings to directly reduce patient medication costs for ART (HIV) and DAA (hepatitis C) therapy.

Mobile Outreach Across the Region

Our mobile outreach model means we travel to churches, community centers, rural gathering spots, LGBTQ+ community spaces, college campuses, shelters and public parks, and bars and community spaces across Coastal Central and Northern Florida.

Comprehensive Navigation

We do not just test and send you on your way. We provide or facilitate: Testing (free and low-cost), Results (private and compassionate), Treatment (on-site for curable STIs and hepatitis C; navigation for HIV), Prevention (PrEP, PEP, condoms, counseling), Navigation (help accessing insurance, medications, and ongoing care), and Follow-up (staying connected to ensure you get the care you need, including cure verification for HCV).

Compliance as Foundation

We are building our organization on a foundation of compliance, transparency, and ethical practices: Independent Board of Directors with formal Conflict of Interest Policy, licensed prescriber (MD/DO/NP/PA) with appropriate DEA registration, CLIA-waived and certified laboratory capabilities, strict adherence to all HRSA 340B program rules, transparent financial practices, and full compliance with Florida nonprofit, healthcare, and infectious disease reporting regulations.
